The Smallest Infinite Set [Today's News Poem, October 28, 2010]

The Smallest Infinite Set [Today's News Poem, October 28, 2010]

Capo, the box, has absconded with flowers,
Depleted their wavelengths; configured the towers
Of better than vision: its modes are unrivaled.

Detach your own retina; hoist it and sail:
Stupidity scars; it's the horn of the snail
Retracting—avoiding the terrible stimulus.

Everything's slanted, diagonal, trailing;
Make a selection, the future is hailing:
Enhance your reality; limit your options.
