Love or Love of Perfect Revenge [Today's News Poem by Khakjaan Wessington, June 15, 2012]

Love or Love of Perfect Revenge [Today's News Poem by Khakjaan Wessington, June 15, 2012]

Every time I pop a boner, crows announce it.
Buzzards circle over everywhere I've ever ejaculated.
Angels gesticulate until God and ex-girlfriends are ashamed of me.
Genuine creation is an act of violence.
God leaves behind no messy semen, bloody menses, wounded eros
And yet God wounds us just as our first violation wounded us
From somewhere inside our mothers.
Crows must fill the silence, buzzards signal death, and angels flap like demons.
God might be the Devil and so might an ex-girlfriend.
Every act of revenge is mistaken identity or leaves some guilty party unpunished
Or simply diminishes the avenger.
Every erection is casus belli, ultima ratio and
Rapture. How can we not live at war?

“Then why pummel the then-65-year-old priest, who suffered multiple bruises and required stitches to close two cuts above his left eye and left ear? … But Lynch said there was no way to stop the priest from forcing them to have oral sex with each other. Lynch says Lindner sodomized him while he lay atop his younger brother, staring helplessly into the little boy's stunned eyes. Lynch never forgave himself for letting it happen.”
